What It’s All For
Sometimes it can be easy to get caught up in the minutiae of personal finance.
There are so many details and things to worry about — emergency funds, retirement, that pile of receipts on the desk — that it’s no wonder we sometimes forget about the larger purpose of money.
Money is here to make our lives (and the lives of others) easier.
Taking care of our finances helps us to do the things we want to do in life. It’s not just about buying stuff or going on trips — it’s about using our resources wisely and planning ahead so that we can spend time with those we love.
Don’t forget what it’s all for.
Thats wise advice. Sometimes I get so caught up saving and being frugal that I’m not enjoying anything that we’re laboring for.
LenciB, I hope you start enjoying things more often then :)
My husband keeps my inner-squirrel in check. :-)
Budgeting, sounds like your husband is a good match :)
Save to live, don’t live to save……
