Boo! Halloween-Edition Links and Update

Well I think things are starting to settle down blog-transfer wise. Thank you for bearing with me during the transition.

Most of you that subscribe to my RSS feed should be seeing this in your reader without any problems. (Now if only I could figure out why there are a few that it’s not working for.)

If you’re not currently a subscriber, you can join the correct feed by clicking the orange subscribe image to the right.

Now here are this week’s links:

On Simplicity asks, “What’s luck got to do with it?” (along with giving a few suggestions on how to give luck “come hither” eyes.)

Personal Finance by the Book shares a childhood experience about saving up for things. I’m lucky to have gotten the same advice he did as a kid.

MoneyNing reminds us that personal finance is indeed personal, and that taking action is a critical step.

Realm of Prosperity knows that used video games and movies are perfectly fine. I agree, and if I were into buying those things I would definitely be checking out the used bookstore. (Which reminds me, your local library may have those items too if you want to borrow them.)

Finally, Plonkee Money is curious about what motivates you financially. Big goals often do it for me, although I’m going to have to give that question some more thought.
